Get rider fit, quick but get the RIGHT areas of the body fit and functioning, understanding why and with great results. Body awareness, using your balanced weight and correct seat does not need to be taught in the saddle, at a fitness class designed for horse riders you can gain maximum results simply and quickly enough for your horse to notice the difference.

Strategic Fitness plans delivered in simple yet challenging steps, concentrating on levels of Control, Awareness, balance, weight distribution at its core, before you are challenged to hold positions, and repeat patterns, all aimed towards better efficient effective riding.

Objective

Get competition ready and even if you are not competing being fit is very important in allowing you to ride well.  Only when you have ridden for years and have a period away from riding will it become clear that your fitness is crucial to taking it up again. Without strong core muscles it is impossible to gain a balanced posture and a strong independent seat which is critical to gain an enhanced athletic ability. Most importantly this is important for the comfort of your horse.

The course includes:

  • Core strength 
  • Stability and weight aids
  • Conditioning muscle memory
  • Balance in and out of the saddle 
  • Flexibility/Suppleness
  • With a course work book

Can be delivered as a one off fun workshop over 4 hours, or delivered as a weekly measurable, results guaranteed fitness course.

Where:  At one of our chosen venues, sports halls, your yard or chosen venue. 

Initial consultation, with PAR-Q and a pre / post assessment.

Please bring a yoga type mat, a soft drink in a suitable bottle that cant spill, wear something non restrictive, gym type attire, and warm clothes for the cool down.
